- First batch students are admitted the faculty after obtaining the high school certificate or its equivalent in or outside Egypt in accordance with the rules determined by law, and the rules of universities admission coordinating bureau.
- The faculty’s council determines the accepted numbers of Egyptian students based on student affairs commission’s suggestion, and the approval of the faculty’s council.
- The expatriate students who have got high school certificate or its equivalent from other country may be admitted in accordance with the rules of supreme council of universities in this regard.
Length of study, academic classes and workload.
- Duration of study at bachelor’s degree level: four university years, the two academic semesters system is applied, the academic curriculums and its accredited hours according to the determined accredited hours of each academic subject in accordance with the provisions of this regulation.
- Academic year: two semesters (16) week for each one including exams, but the registration period isn’t included. It’s allowed to arrange a summer course not less than eight weeks, depending on the available human and material resources.
- Academic workload: each academic semester is ranging from (16) to (22) accredited hours.
- Minimum: the registered accredited hours in any academic class for each student mustn’t be less than (12) accredited hours.
- Maximum: the registered accredited hours in any academic class for each student mustn’t be more than (22) accredited hours ,and not more than the number of hours of two curriculums in the summer course.
- To complete graduation requirements the student has to pass successfully (135) accredited hours (123) hours of it are compulsory and (12) hours are optional.
- The accumulative rate mustn’t be less than (1.5 of 5) points to get the bachelor’s degree in law.
