Prof. Ayman Othman, acting president of Aswan University, announced that Aswan University ranked 95th in the world and first among Egyptian universities according to the classification of The Times of British Journal of Sustainable Development.

Prof. Ayman Othman congratulated members of the faculty and staff at the university for achieving this classification, stressing the continuation of development work at the university at all levels to achieve advanced positions among universities.

 Prof.  Ayman Othman, acting president of Aswan University, stated that Aswan University, with all its energies, capabilities, scientific facilities, laboratories, applied laboratory,  serves the goals of sustainable development and works to open horizons for investment in Aswan Governorate.
Prof. Ayman Othman added that my first duties in the presidency of the university began in reviewing and evaluating the vision and the strategic plan of the university so that the university would be a beacon of development and an icon for youth employment and linking them to the labor market and knowing and directing their employment opportunities even before their graduation.
From my perspective, the university is a container for development, not just stands and division.
Prof. Ayman Othman, the university’s acting president, announced that the university represents the house of expertise. There is close cooperation from integration with the great efforts made by Major General Ashraf Attia, Governor of Aswan, in moving the wheel of production and development through stimulating investment operations in the fields of agriculture, industry, mining, tourism, and health.
This is my first message to your Excellency, we are with you and all our facilities are at your service, and it is time for us to integrate together to serve our beloved Aswan.
A specialized team is now compiling feasibility studies for sectors that represent a priority for development in the governorate. They will be presented in preparation for free commercial use to the governor.
Working groups are also being prepared to lay down plans to support the governorate in establishing investment cities for granite, another for dates, another for phosphates, and another for fish.
The coming period will witness an unprecedented involvement of the university in serving all quarters and villages of the Aswan Governorate.
