Dr. Khaled Abdel Ghaffar_ Minister of Higher Education and Scientific Research_ announced the lists of universities and institutes accredited by the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research, to inform students and parents about these accredited educational institutions.
Dr. Adel Abdel-Ghaffar, Media Adviser and Official Spokesperson for the Ministry, stated that the aim of the announcement of the lists of accredited universities and institutes inside Egypt is to raise awareness among students and parents about these accredited institutions, so that they do not fall prey to fictitious entities that conducting in educational activities without obtaining the necessary licenses from the Ministry. It grants Fake certificates that are not equivalent to the Supreme Council of Universities ones.
For his part, the official spokesman emphasized that the ministry’s judicial seizure committees, in cooperation with the concerned authorities in the country, will intensify their campaigns during the current period to seize any fake entities that falsely claim to be accredited, and legal measures will be taken against these fake entities, as well as coordination with the governors to close these fake entities immediately.
The Ministry urges the various media to publish the lists of accredited higher education institutions for public opinion. To inform students about it during this important period, which coincides with the coordination of admission to universities and institutes for enrollment in the new academic year 2021/2022.
